I am using Cisco VPN Client on Mac. Today I have just understood that it causes kernel panics! Whenever it’s on, sometimes in 30mins sometimes in one hour.

  1. I’m having the same issues. I keep getting kernel panics when using the Cisco VPN. It basically freezes everything up and I need to hold the power button down and then restart. Does anyone have a fix?

  2. Hello Larry,

I am not sure but you can try to update your Cisco VPN Client as well as MacOS. I rather am using the web login interface for the VPN. Whenever it’s not working switching to Win7 (bootcamp) and using the VPN for Windows. Hope it may help.
