Since some time, I was looking for a device, to use for reading ebook, documents on the go, in a more comfortable way than limiting myself into the small screen of my iphone.
At first, I thought about buying the new ipad but the size of the device was bigger than I wanted. ipad is wonderful, but on the go, it’s just not comfortable to use.
One day, I ordered an Amazon Kindle Touch with great expectations. However, I was dissappointed, it was really slow, especially when the e-ink renew itself. So I returned the device back.
Today I check the amazon for ebook and tablet devices again and found out that the Acer Iconia A200 would be a good choice with a small price and an acceptable quality. After half an hour, I found the other Acer Iconia models which where better with their performances (lagfree) but higher with their prices.
I check the Sony devices etc. than all of a sudden I found out that there is another new device name ‘Google Nexus 7’ I watched some videos and reviews about it and convinced to get one. Unfortunately, Amazon.de wasn’t selling any so I googled whether to find another shop. It took me to Google Play and I was able to order one, I ordered the 16GB version.
So it was about 01:30am on 30th August (btw. this day is really important for Turkey and the Turkish Nation, its the Victory Day (local name: Zafer Bayramı) on August 30 is a national holiday in Turkey to commemorate the victory in the Battle of Dumlupınar, the final battle in the Turkish War of Independence in 1922.)
Than while I was checking the internet to predict the delivery time for Nexus 7 in Germany. I saw the artikel below 🙂
So they started to accept orders from Germany just 1,5 hour before my order.. Coincidence..
